Flashpark Privicy Policy
What Data We Collect
Flashpark is a service for controlling private car parking areas. We collect data from our customers, and via our customers, for vehicles and vehicle keepers.
From our customers, we collect
- Contact names and address of customers
- The address of the controlled parking area(s)
- Documents and photographs pertaining to the controlled parking area in order to validate the parking are conforms to our terms and conditions
- Photographic evidence of unauthorised parking, the of the time of the unauthorised parking and the registration of the vehicle
From the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, we collect
We use the DVLA's KADOE service to obtain the vehicle's keeper name and address so that we can issue a Parking Charge Notice
We are regularly audited by the DVLA to ensure that we meet their conditions of use for the KADOE service
The KADOE service also provides limited vehicle information, such as make model and colour
From Vehicle Keepers
We obtain a vehicle keeper's name and address from the DVLA and use it to issue a Parking Charge Notice
If the parking charge notice is not paid in the required period, and the keeper has not appealed, we will forward the keeper's details to our debt collection agency.
Payment provider
We pass limited data to the payment provider so that they can process payments. We do not retain credit card details on Flashpark
