How to upload photographs of vehicles and your premises

Our web-site limits the size of photgraphs to 4 megabytes in size. We do this for a number of reasons

  • It helps to keep the web site responsive for other users
  • It helps us display your photographs quickly on your account pages
  • It helps keep the space we reserve for photographs growing too fast

The space we reserve for photographs is regularly reviewed and we tend to increase the maximum size as camera technolgy gets better.

Until we increase the space, we kindly ask you to limit the size of the photgraphs you are uploading. Here are some suggestions which could help you do this

  • If it's possible, set your camera to take smaller resolution photgraphs
  • If you have large photographs, use a program such as Infranview to resize your photographs
  • Various web-sites offer on-line free image resizing. Search using a phrase like "online image resize"

If neither are possible, please contact our support desk and we can arrange for you to email the photographs to us and we will reduce their size for you.

What we need to see in the photos

We need to see clear evidence of where the signs are located, please include in photos the entrance and important the ‘parking’ area e.g.: below. These photos are required in order for your account to be approved so that you can report offending vehicles. You only need to take these photographs once and upload them on to your account.
